Central Park Christian School

Financial Agreement
Policies and Procedures

The annual tuition and other fees and charges are, with the exception of some miscellaneous donations and gifts, the sole operating funds for Central Park Christian School. Therefore, prompt payment of such tuition and fees is necessary to guarantee the quality Christian education we are attempting to provide your child.

Your cooperation will enable Central Park Christian School to maintain a positive Christian testimony by having the funds necessary to meet its financial obligations on a timely basis. We thank you for your support and cooperation with regard to these financial policies.

1. Tuition payments are due by the first of the month in accordance with the plan selected by the
parent(s) on the face of this financial agreement.

2. Payments received after the tenth of the month will be assessed a late fee of $10.00.

3. Payments not received by the last day of the month will be considered past due. When an account
becomes past due, the following procedures will be implemented.

a. The School Committee will notify the parents(s) in writing that unless the account is brought to a current status, it will be necessary for the child(ren) to be withdrawn from Central Park
Christian School. The effective date of withdrawal will be stated in the written notice of
impending action.

b. Parents who have been notified of impending withdrawal may arrange a personal conference
with the finance subcommittee of the School Committee by the date stated to discuss an
appropriate plan for bringing the account to current status.

c. If arrangements cannot be made between the parents and the School Committee to keep the
child(ren) in school by bringing the account to current status, the child(ren) must be withdrawn.

4. A fee of $15.00 will be charged for any check returned by the bank.

5. All report cards and records may be held in the school office until past due funds are received by
the financial secretary.

6. No student will be allowed to register for the new school year if there is an overdue balance
showing on the current school account. A place cannot be held for any child who has not
paid registration fees or whose account is not current. If an account is in arrears and a
registration is paid, the registration fee will be applied to the overdue account, and the student’s
registration is voided.

7. No student for whom registration has been paid can allow that account to become delinquent
during the remaining school year without forfeiting the registration fee and the place in the
next year’s class.
